Texas Happenings

From top to bottom..... The kids helped draf out some of Honey Grandma's yard decorations and set them up today. We did not get everything hooked up to power yet, but we got alot out. The girls had new clothes on on Friday and I had to snap pictures of them in them. Maddie was dressed up in "princess" clothes and dancing with her dancerella video so I snuck a picture. The tree is post tinsil and pre candy canes. I will have to get another shot of it now that they have hung candy all over it as well. Daddy arrives Thursday and we are sure missing him!

Tent and Tunnel play

Honey Grandma knows how much the kids love to play tent and make messes with blankets in thier room. She decided to get them some actual tents to play in instead. Here they are enjoying them.

A Few Kid Quotes

I know I am painfully behind in writing anything, but I am on vacation so... oh well. Anyways, heres a couple of the latest. Yesterday Madeline asked her Honey grandma if she could have some candy right before dinner time. She told her no. Maddie asked "just one?" So, Honey grandma said "o.k. one" and handed her one skittle. Maddie looked at her with her sweet inquisitive face and said " You're only giving me one???"
Andrew was asking about going back to Bontana again. I told him we have to wait for Daddy to come here to take us. He asked when he was coming. I told him in 9 days. Then he said "we leave in 8,6,4." The funniest thing is if you add those numbers together he was right!!!
At nap time Maddie likes to talk about anything to get me to stay in the room with her just a few extra minutes. I am sure I am not alone in this little childhood stalling game. Yesterday she was going on as usual. "I need a drink", "Where's my pets", "Can you cover me?" The usuals...then out of the blue she said..."I wish I could be a cat for Christmas." Not sure if I heard her right I repeated it in question form. She just said "Yes." Then she settled in for her nap. I giggled and kissed her forehead and just left it at that.

MMM...Smores

We all made S'mores the other night, a yummy, messy treat!

Samantha's Hat

Sammie has claimed a hat here at Honey Grandma's. She puts it on nearly everyday.

Tree Decorating

The kids enjoyed putting decorations on the tree for Honey Grandma. Their favorites were the new Webkinz ornaments she bought for them. They covered the tree with tinsel after and covered themselves in the process. Madeline keeps asking "where are the presents?" now.
