Long Overdue

I know I am really behind on the family blog thing right now...I apologize. We are home from Texas, back in Montana and things have been a bit hectic. It always is when you travel as a family of 7! Once again I can not upload pics for you yet, as Mark had the wrong cord in his case without realizing it. Kodak requires thier own special usb, naturally!!! So, I will have to wait for his next visit when he will hopefully have the right one with him.
Remember that puppy we found and were trying to find a home for??? Well, we found it a home...OURS! Tippy was officially "adopted" by Ethan and flew to us less than a week after we got back home. She is growing like crazy! Her and Chief enjoy having each other to tease. Then... Ethan decided to spend his Christmas / Birthday money on a Bunny and cage. Harvey (as he named him) was with us for 8 days, he went back today because we found out that Zach is allergic to bunnies!!!! Poor Ethan! He took it well though and is now looking forward to respending his money.
The kids are back to thier normal routines around here and I have to say that though it has been (and still is) a bit of work...it is nice to be back on schedules. Bedtime is still proving a bit of a challenge since the kids have to readjust to thier room and beds.
We came home to some cold temps! Lots of snow and ice also. It has been fun for the kids, not so fun for travel. Then , this last week the temps rose suddenly causing things to melt off too quickly and resulting in a flood in part of our basement. We are still cleaning up from the mess! There will be some new landscaping projects on the spring to-do list for sure!
Well, I think that catches us up for the moment. It is nice to be back fellowshipping with our church family as well! They were quite missed also. More to come when Mark gets back!
